Vision is about seeing & shaping the future.

The vision of Gateway Church Cymru is to be a church whose head is Jesus Christ, whose help is the Holy Spirit and whose focus is the Great Commission.

The church we see is a Church of influence; a church that is passionate to make Jesus known in their homes, community, worlds of work, study and the wider world.

The church we see has a message so clear that lives are changed forever and potential is fulfilled through the power of His Word.

The church we see is a worshipping church whose songs reflect such a love for Christ that others sense His greatness and power.

The church we see is so dependent on the Holy Spirit that nothing will stop it nor stand against it; a Church whose people are united, praying and full of God’s Spirit.

The church we see is brimming with families who are flourishing in faith, hope & love.

The church we see champions children & young people to serve God and dream the impossible.

The church we see honours the older generation and believes they have a significant role to play.

The church we see is a community where students and young adults are planted & flourishing.

The church we see loves and cares for those who society has left behind.

The church we see is a Church committed to raising, training and empowering leaders to be who God has created them to be and who will pay the price and count the cost to glorify Christ.

The church we see is planting churches and campuses in towns and cities across Wales, the UK and around the world.

The church we see is a church that is sending missionaries around the world to spread the good news of Jesus to all nations.

The church we see is a church that refuses to be content with the triumphs of the past, but is constantly looking towards the future – believing “‘This Temple is going to end up far better than it started out, a glorious beginning but an even more glorious finish: a place in which I will hand out wholeness and holiness.’ Decree of God-of-the-Angel-Armies.”
