Next Generation Teams
At Gateway, we believe the next generation is not just the church of tomorrow but the church of today. Our Next Generation Teams help children and young people know Jesus, grow in faith, and discover their purpose.
“Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)
Kids Team
The Kids Team disciples children in a safe, fun, and faith-filled environment. You’ll help kids discover who Jesus is and what it means to follow Him from an early age.
Roles include:
• Classroom Leader (teaching, leading activities and crafts, discipleship)
• Classroom Helper (supporting the leader, helping children with activities and crafts)
All Kids Team members are DBS checked and trained in safeguarding.
If you have a heart for children and want to see them grow in faith, join the Kids Team.
Youth Team
The Youth Team disciples teenagers through Bible Nights, Worship Nights, and Social Nights, creating space for them to grow in faith and community.
As part of the team you will help with:
• Preaching or sharing a short message
• Leading Bible teaching and discussion
• Organising and running games
• Supporting worship and music
• Planning and leading craft activities
• Serving on the tuck shop
All team members are DBS checked and trained in safeguarding.
