Life get’s busy, and the first thing we often lose is time in the Bible. Many of us want to read Scripture more, but understanding it and finding a rhythm that actually sticks can be hard.
The Gateway Bible Journey is here to help with that. It gives you a simple, steady way to open God’s Word each day - something manageable, not overwhelming - and space for God to speak into your everyday life.
Why We’re Doing This
As a church, we want to grow closer to Jesus and become more like Him. That begins with choosing to spend regular time in the Bible.
The Bible points us to Jesus. It shows us who He is, what He has done for us, and how He calls us to live. When we read Scripture, we’re not just taking in information - we’re meeting the One at the centre of it all.
As we read the Bible together, we believe God will help us grow over time and change our lives in ways only He can.

The Gateway Bible Journey booklet includes several custom Bible reading plans created specifically for Gateway Church Cymru. You can choose the plan that best fits the season you’re in, with each one designed to be simple, intentional, and to help you build a steady, life-giving rhythm in God’s Word.
You’ll also find a few helpful tools and tips for reading the Bible, including the SOAP method, to help you reflect on Scripture and hear what God is saying to you.
