Finding a new church can feel overwhelming - we understand that. If you’ve visited Gateway and you’re wondering what to do next, this page is for you.
We want to help you feel at home, understand who we are, and discover whether Gateway is where God is calling you to belong. These three simple invitations will help you take your next steps with confidence.
Come Again
If you’re new, your first step is simple: come again next week and get to know people here. There’s no pressure and no rush. Church is about relationship, and most people feel more at home after a few visits, as they begin to build connections and feel part of the family.
Try Alpha
After coming along on a Sunday and getting a feel for church, Alpha is the best next step.
It runs over 11 weeks on a Tuesday evening from 7–8pm and is a relaxed space to explore life, faith, and meaning. Each week includes a short video and time to talk, where you can ask questions, listen, and hear about Jesus in a clear and honest way.
There’s no pressure and no judgement. You can come as you are and take things at your own pace.
If you’ve been along on a Sunday and want to explore faith for yourself, Alpha is the place to start.
Small Groups
After Alpha, or if you’ve already done Alpha before, one of the best ways to keep growing is by joining a Small Group.
Our Small Groups meet every Wednesday at church from 7–8pm and are a place to build friendships, study the Bible, pray together and support one another.
Whether you are new to Gateway or have been part of the church for years, Small Groups are one of the best ways to grow in your walk with Jesus and feel connected.
