Hi! I’m Luke, pastor here at Gateway, and I’m married to my best friend Georgina.
My greatest joy is introducing people to Jesus and helping them follow Him every day. I believe God’s Word changes lives, the local church is God’s plan for the world, and everyone has a part to play in His kingdom.
My prayer is that the resources here encourage you and help you grow as a follower of Jesus.

About Me
I grew up in a Christian home where the Bible, prayer and church were part of everyday life. I’m so thankful for my parents and the way they introduced me and my brothers to Jesus from a young age. Their example has had a lasting impact on my life, and I’m grateful for the foundation they gave us.
Although I first gave my life to Jesus as a child, it was when I was sixteen, at a Christian summer camp, that I recommitted my life to the Lord and began to follow Him for myself. Not long afterwards I was baptised, filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to sense that God was calling me into ministry.
Over the years I’ve had the privilege of serving in different roles within the local church before becoming the pastor of Gateway Church Cymru in October 2017. Looking back, I can see God’s hand on my life every step of the way, and I’m so grateful for the privilege of serving Him and the church family at Gateway.
I love preaching the Bible because I believe God’s Word still changes lives. My prayer is that through my preaching and ministry, people would come to know Jesus, grow as His disciples, and discover the hope and purpose that can only be found in Him.
I’m married to my beautiful wife, Georgina, who is the love of my life and my very best friend. I thank God for her every single day. Her love, support and encouragement mean more to me than words can say, and I’m so grateful that we get to serve Jesus together and be part of all that He’s doing at Gateway.
